A special day with live art, friends and solidarity, which coincided with the celebration of the 26th Málaga Film Festival. Fresco Film, one of the leading international service companies in Spain with their headquarters in Málaga, opened the doors of its new headquarters in Pedregalejo, one of the most emblematic neighborhoods on the beach on the Costa del Sol.
With a staff of more than 20 professionals, the new office has adapted to the growth of the company so as to respond to the great demand for filming in Spain.
It was day that combined art and solidarity. During the festivities artist Fernando Quirós painted a colorful and spectacular work of boquerones (anchovies,) a characteristic and popular fish from Málaga, also it is a nod to our roots in that province. Additionally, all the guests participated and collaborated in painting another canvas which will remain in the Fresco Film headquarters as a memory of that day. The original painting by Fernando Quirós was donated to Cudeca, a local NGO from Málaga which is dedicated to offering palliative care completely free of charge in the province. In addition Cudeca is now dedicated to palliative care for children and adolescents and is focused on an international project in palliative care research and training. Esther Ráez, Head of Communications and Fundraising, collected the painting for Cudeca.
About 100 people attended the event to get to know the new headquarters and we would like to thank all Fresco Film’s friends, clients, suppliers and the Málaga Film Office institutions who attended and shared these special moments.
