We have been actively participating in several events within the activities of the festival: The First Meeting of Professional Women in the film industry; the presentation of the Madrid Film office; the premiere of the documentary «Camarón, Flamenco y Revolución» and at the closing of the Festival.
The Spanish Film Festival is already a consolidated audiovisual professional entity within the national and Spanish-speaking market. It is an arena where films, series and documentaries are presented and awarded – a great promotional showcase.
This year we were in the First Meeting of Professional Women in the film industry and in the Forum «Mujeres V.O.» where our colleagues María Cabello and Marcela Barbolla participated and presented our views regarding women working in the audiovisual sector.
We were there supporting the presentation of the Madrid Film Office with Manuela Carmeña, Mayor of Madrid, Francisco de la Torre, Mayor of Málaga and Tecla Lumbreras, Vice Chancellor of the University of Málaga.
A very moving moment was the premiere of the documentary «Camarón, Flamenco y Revolución» by our colleague Miriam Ruiz Mateos who participated as Director of Production, an interesting and beautiful work Miriam!
As a finishing touch, part of the Snatch2 production team represented Fresco Film at the closing party of the Festival, what a great team we have!
The Spanish Film Festival is an ideal time to get to know Malaga, the city where our headquarters are, and we look forward to seeing you next year!
